How To: Turn off Samsung Galaxy S III Water Droplet Sound Effect

Like a guest who overstays his welcome, TouchWiz’s Nature UX sound effects get old pretty fast, especially when you start to hear the water droplet sound mid-game.

Samsung claims that the Galaxy S III was “designed for humans,” but humans are prone to being annoyed by unnecessary feedback. To turn off the water touch effect, hit the Menu key and select Settings.

Once you are in the device sounds menu, scroll down until you see the check boxes for “Toucn sounds” and “Screen lock sound.” Untick both options and your phone should operate much more silently!
