Samsung Unveils the Pink Galaxy S II in South Korea

Just about every smartphone comes in one of two colorways; black or white–sometimes grey/metallic. Samsung decided it was time to change with women’s tastes in mind.

As you can see, the newly recolored Galaxy S II will be receiving a fresh new chassis adorned with chrome accents and a pink body. Samsung’s flagship Android smartphone will now be available in 3 different colors; black, white and pink.

As it stands, Samsung has already sold about 4 million Galaxy S IIs in South Korea including 850,000 white units. The pink Galaxy S II will initially be released exclusively in Korea, but like the white and black versions, they will likely find their way to Europe, Canada and eventually the good ‘ol United States.
