Samsung continues its campaign of incredible Android devices by featuring their Galaxy Note in a new YouTube spot:
Samsung is well known for their slim Android tablets (10.1, 8.9, 7.7 and 7 inch variants) as well as their super-popular Galaxy phones (4, 4.3 and 4.5 inches)–now with the Galaxy Note, they have bridged the size differential, covering the entire gamut of smartphone and tablet form factors. The 5.3-inch device will combine the utility of a tablet-sized device with the portability and telecommunication capabilities of a smartphone.
In the video, we can see vivid aerial landscape shots which are actually being viewed on the Galaxy Note’s magnificent 5.3″ 1280×800, Super AMOLED display. As we zoom out, the Note’s stylus based photo-editing capabilities are shown off. One of the Galaxy Note’s unique features is its “S Pen” which allows for impressive tracking accuracy, as seen in our post about a caricaturist using the Galaxy Note to draw a subject.
Another interesting fact about this hybrid tablet/phone device is that Samsung will be marketing the Note towards the female demographic. It’s convenient size is perfect for handbags and there will be versions with female-friendly color schemes. My question is will the female demographic include the U.S. market?
