Although T-Mobile has been absent from all the Sprint and AT&T, Galaxy S II fanfare, loyal fans of magenta will be excited to see these pics of a T-Mobile branded, Galaxy Tab Plus!
The successor to the original Froyo based 7-inch tablet will be upgraded across the board with a plethora of current & next gen features. You can see in the screenshots that the Galaxy Tab Plus will be running Android’s dedicated Honeycomb tablet OS and will feature T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ data capability. According to TmoNews’ sources, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI is a “phenomenal addition” and the that the “user experience is simple and fun.”
There haven’t been any benchmark scores or official specs released as of yet, but back at IFA 2011 in Berlin Samsung showcased the Galaxy Tab 7.7, a 7.7-inch device with a razor thin 7.89mm profile, 1.4GHz dual-core processor and the first Super AMOLED Plus display on a tablet. It would be puzzling to think that this T-Mobile 7-incher would be a different model altogether:
Although there is no word on pricing or avaialabity as of yet, it will likely see a Q4 or Q1 release.
