How To: View Websites in Desktop Mode on the Samsung Galaxy S II default browser

Posted on Sep 20 2011 - 11:00am by Brian

Mobile versions of websites were a godsend when phones had teeny displays and lacked the data connections to load full websites but that was then and this is now. The Galaxy S II has no problem viewing full desktop versions of websites, so why not have them load by default? Here’s how:

Mobile vs. Desktop versions of ESPN

1. Go to your browser and hit Menu > More > Settings

2. Select View Mode >

3. Enjoy your full desktop experience! For more tips and tricks check out our Galaxy S II tips, how to and review archive.
