Tip: Increase Samsung Galaxy S II GPS accuracy with Sensor Aiding

Here’s a quick little tip that will help boost your Samsung Android device’s GPS capabilities.

In addition to using wireless networks and GPS to help locate your position, you can activate “Sensor aiding” to enhance position tracking and reduce the amount of power used on GPS and network based tracking.

To activate this feature, simply navigate to Settings > Locations and security

Check “Use sensor aiding” and hit “OK” when it prompts you:
