There are always different ways to take screenshots especially with the line of work we do here in CareAce. We got a bit bored with taking screenshot via apps that have a timer mechanism or a hidden button. To prevent future boredom (enough or buttons!), we found ShootMe of Android! Simply after starting up, the instructions is to just give it a good shake for less than 0.5 seconds. Shaking it twice as if like a music conductor seems to do the trick.
The program can work while locked, in mid of moving an icon in the home screen with live background running, taking static screenshots of applications running in the foreground,
However, problems arise when you like to take screenshots in an active 3D game. Screenshots below show the limit of the ShootMe’s scan rate over NeoCore, a graphics benchmark app.
Also if you want to take a screenshot while playing a video or taking a picture, it ain’t happening.
(and yes, that’s the lovely Seattle Space Needle)
